Congrats on the win. If it wasn't for the 18 team on the outside of me being dumb(running over my chain). You might would finished second, at least had a harder time winning. I don't think they're  going to allow a race car to enter anymore. Only stock  cars will be allowed in the future. I guess when they allowed you to enter they were wanting to see how it would go. Come back this next season and try again. We have a blast Chain Racing at BG. We also try to get races at other tracks like 311, Ace, Friendship,Thunder Valley. Its just hard to get the teams to go to some of these other tracks.

yeah we have some chain cars built for the next one there better than the cars we had last time i think, we are going to put a cage in them if we are allowed to but does that make it a race car?

Well it just depends on what you have along with a cage, which could make it a race car of sorts. I know they are already trying each year to slow everyone down. There has been instances were the break cars have flipped over. They have been discussing the point of every break car having everything in them, except glass. They want to possibly weigh us down, to slow us down. Every year the rules tend to change a little. Like the number issue that the teams had on the last race. Everybody had to white- out they're numbers and put black numbers on.  I'm not the rule maker for the chain races. So I'm not sure what the rules will be this year. You seem like good guys when I talked to you at the track.  I've been chain racing at the stadium since '02.  There are a lot of teams that have been doing this a while ,and we love doing this for the fun and competition. Like to have you fellas back next year .

Geez, the cars are already slow enough, and Tommy isn't going anywhere unless he know he has a chance to win. Where can you find rules for the Chain race ?

The rules pretty much are, you have to have stock 4Cyl  cars; with a Maximum wheel base of 105, I think. You have to have no brakes,(master cyl, brake pedal,or e-brake) in the pull car(front). The brake car has to have an engine and tranny inside, but cannot run. 6 feet of chain between the two cars. And stock tires to be used. You can use stock windsheld, but all glass and other lights, etc, has to be removed. This is pretty much the rules, but like I said they change something every year. Such as the number thing or the weight issue. Show up at the beginning of the season to find out more.
